La seguridad social es el sistema de protección que una sociedad construye a fin de brindar amparo frente a los riesgos que atraviesan todos los seres humanos a lo largo de la vida.<br />

La CN especificamente enumera los siguientes:<br />

• seguro social obligatorio, a cargo de entidades nacionales o provinciales con autonomía económica, administradas por los interesados con participación del Estado, sin superposición de aporte<br />
<br />
• jubilaciones y pensiones móviles<br />
<br />
• protección integral de la familia<br />
<br />
• defensa del bien de familia<br />
<br />
• compensación económica familiar<br />
<br />
• acceso a una vivienda digna.<br />
